Doctor Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the technical and operational aspects of the resort clinics
- Examine and provide treatment to guests and team members of the resort as and when required.
- Monitor the section budgets & expenses
- Provision of information and preventive health care and promotion of good health and health education awareness generation.
- Training team members in health issues including First Aid training.
- Advise and guide the expatriate employees on their entitlements in terms of the Medical Scheme.
- Inform the HR Manager whenever an employee needs to be referred for further medical treatment in the hospital in Male
- Assist in the preparation of medical emergency evacuation plans along with other departments.
- Responsible for preparing MIS records
- Produce relevant periodic reports as and when required to include: the number of sick leave recorded and/or the number of employees/guests seen per month
- Report any health and safety hazards.
- Accompany the employees to the hospital as and whenever required.
- Responsible for conducting a medical audit
- Responsible for attending to emergency calls.
- Plan supplies well in advance and liaise with HR Manager to ensure the availability of medical equipment at all times.
- Attend and act as a First aid Representative in all sports/welfare activities organized by the Welfare Coordinator.
- Counsel and advise staff on all Medical related issues
- Perform relevant duties assigned by management
Doctor Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a Certified Medical Doctor from a reputed institution
- Valid registered medical license
- 3 – 5 years of resort-based medical practice
- High level of English comprehension both oral and written
- Displays professionalism, flexibility, adaptability, and practical skills
- With outstanding interpersonal relations in a diverse and multicultural environment
Doctor Requirements:
- Possesses Degree in Medicine and license certificates.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as a licensed Doctor in hospitality industry.
- Proficient in English both in writing and verbal.
- Remote island-based work experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, maturity, and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
- Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
