Doctor Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the technical and operational aspects of the resort clinics
• Examine and provide treatment to guests and team members of the resort as and when required.
• Monitor the section budgets & expenses
• Provision of information and preventive health care and promotion of good health and health education awareness generation.
• Training team members in health issues including First Aid training.
• Advise and guide the expatriate employees on their entitlements in terms of the Medical Scheme.
• Inform the HR Manager whenever an employee needs to be referred for further medical treatment in the hospital in Male
• Assist in the preparation of medical emergency evacuation plans along with other departments.
• Responsible for preparing MIS records
• Produce relevant periodic reports as and when required to include: the number of sick leave recorded and/or the number of employees/guests seen per month
• Report any health and safety hazards.
• Accompany the employees to the hospital as and whenever required.
• Responsible for conducting a medical audit
• Responsible for attending to emergency calls.
• Plan supplies well in advance and liaise with HR Manager to ensure the availability of medical equipment at all times.
• Attend and act as a First aid Representative in all sports/welfare activities organized by the Welfare Coordinator.
• Counsel and advise staff on all Medical related issues
• Perform relevant duties assigned by management

Doctor Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be a Certified Medical Doctor from a reputed institution
• Valid registered medical license
• 3 – 5  years of resort-based medical practice
• High level of English comprehension both oral and written
• Displays professionalism, flexibility, adaptability, and practical skills
• With outstanding interpersonal relations in a diverse and multicultural environment

Doctor Requirements:

•  Possesses Degree in Medicine and license certificates.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience as a licensed Doctor in hospitality industry.
• Proficient in English both in writing and verbal.
• Remote island-based work experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, maturity, and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
• Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
• Superb organizational and time management skills.
