Job Description

  • Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections.
  • Supervise and allocate duties for the assigned group or any other tasks given by the Engineer
  • Abides by the construction schedule set by the Engineer.
  • Inspects each phase of work to determine if quality standards are met and that trades are completed on schedule.
  • Work with the project team to ensure that the correct materials and tools are on the job at all times.
  • Ensure material requisitions are issued and available in adequate time to achieve the project targets.
  • Hold an orientation to begin each work day. Provide adequate supervision and training of employees on the job site. This includes holding an initial meeting with the employees at the beginning of the day to discuss the plan for the day, assign the appropriate amount of employees to tasks, description of safety guidelines, and assuring that duties are performed by individuals of specific groups. Work days will include hands-on training of unskilled labors, or instructing labors on their tasks.
  • Ensure that all work done meets project standard and all safety compliance requirements (Ensure that Maintain quality control & quality assurance of the project works).
  • Must be comfortable using typical construction power tools and knowledge of the appropriate tools to be used for each task, as well as ability to construct scaffolding per safety guidelines.
  • Accountable for safety of all personnel and security of the materials and dwellings on job site. Must lead by example and follow all safety requirements set by the company.
  • Accountable for the job until Site Engineer signs off on completed task list.
  • Responsible for completion of daily task list following closing walk thru, in a timely manner.
  • Work is subject to completion based on quality inspections done by Project Manager at each stage of construction.
  • Advise Engineer of any needs or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
  • Performs other appropriate duties and activities as assigned.
  • Keep record & report to Engineer, Material / Manpower Usage for each work on each day.
  • Required Material / Machinery / Tools need to be request from the relevant parties on In advance.
  • Maintain quality and environmental control procedures.
  • Attend weekly project team meetings.
  • Perform any other work assigned by the manager.
