Job Description


The development Manager will mainly assist with acquiring and establishing successful opening of a new  food wholesale and retail store, as well as the day-to-day and long term business management of the operation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  •  Actively involved in development of the new business line and implementation of commercial supplier strategy
  • To drive the delivery of development & generation of product opportunities
  • Source products and maintain supplier relationship
  • Evaluate commercial feasibility of products specific to this market
  • Developing strategies to increase customer pool, expand traffic and optimize profitability
  • To drive an insight led approach to product marketing & setting sales goals  
  • Establishment of an in-house food and beverage operation
  • Lead opening of boutique food store
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with current regulations
  • Lead marketing and launching
  • Hire required personnel
  • Maintain report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share

 Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience 4-7 years in Food & Beverages Business or related field 
  • Immediate joiner
  • Good amount of experience and preferably has worked with  international brands
  • Proven successful experience as a retail manager
  • Powerful leading skills and business orientation
  • Customer management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Business Degree is an added advantage
