Sales Manager
Job Summary
Sales Manager will report directly to Head of Business Development to achieve company goal and objectives, through analyzing market trends and competitor activity and recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the market place along with the development of future and repeat business.
Your Role
- Knowledge of international markets
- Knowledge of hospitality
- Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
- Handle sales activities with local DMC and international tour operator and partners
- Generate new business opportunities through various channels
- Implement the sales activities and action plans outlined in the sales and marketing plan of the hotel
- Takes responsibility for the team's sales performance
- Lead and motivate the sales team
- Maintain sales and service standards of the team
- Analyzing specific and emerging market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads for resort
- Develop tour operator accounts from both existing and emerging market and travel within the market area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with tour operator / DMC
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
- Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
- Co-operate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management.
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
